What steps do I follow after I purchase PcCharge Credit Card Processing Software?

PcCharge Initial Setup

 

If assistance is needed with step 1 thru step 3 – contact PcCharge support.

 

1)     Install PcCharge Payment Server Software on Server. After the PcCharge application is installed, go in PcCharge to Help and About and verify that you have installed “PcCharge Payment Server”.

 

2)     Configure “PcCharge Payment Server” for your Venue. – When adding additional Users after contacting Verifone for security codes, insure that the additional users are added as 002, 003, etc. not user2, user3. (user1 is a default which is correct but additional users must be added starting with 002 and incrementing consecutively.)

 

3)     Process a test credit card transaction through PcCharge on the Server.

 

4)     Share the directory that contains the PcCharge “Active-Charge.exe” application giving all users full permissions and full control security rights.

 

5)     On the Folio Workstation, map a drive to the network shared directory the contains the PcCharge “Active-Charge.exe” application.

 

6)     Configure Folio referring to the Pc Charge Setup for Folio Box Office Software Document.

 

7)     Run a test credit card transaction through Folio.

 

8)     In PcCharge go to Configure System Options – Advanced Configuration Setup – Set Queue Timer Interval to 2.0 seconds.
