| Quicken - Quickbooks Export File Information |
** Important** - As a result of changes to the Quicken Software implemented by Intuit; the Windows Fair Management Program is unable to generate an export file for Quicken 2005 or newer. A Quicken Compatible .QIF File can be generated from the Windows Fair Management Program the can be imported into Quicken 2004 or earlier .The file is generated by going to Premium – Check Register Reports Check the box for Create Quicken compatible ASCII File: Click Save ASCII File: You will be asked where to save the file: Select a Location for Saving the File. Click Save and the Premium.qif file will save to the specified location. A Quickbooks Compatible .iif file can be generated from the Windows Fair Management Program. The check register information will import into Quickbooks as General Journal Entries. The file is generated by going to Premium – Check Register Reports Check the box for Create QuickBooks compatible ASCII File: Click Save ASCII File: You will be asked where to save the file: Select a Location for Saving the File. Click Save. Enter: Source\Credit Acct – Enter the Name of the Credit Account (Checking Account) from Quickbooks Expense\Debit Acct – Enter the Name of the Debit Account (Fair Premiums or Market Sale Money or something similar) from Quickbooks Click OK and the Premium.iif file will save to the specified location.
